The divorce
process is a very simple procedure. The single most important thing
is that you have the correct forms and they are filled out correctly.
If you don't have the correct forms or if they are not filled out
correctly they will not be accepted.

have received your divorce papers the process is easy.
You will
sign and have your spouse sign all of the papers. You will have
them notarized accordingly and make two copies of each page.
You will
take all of the copies to the courthouse and file them with the
court. The clerk will stamp all three copies "filed" and
give you back the two copies. One copy is for you and the other
for your spouse. If you are having your spouse served, you will
have one of the sets served on your spouse.
The clerk
will tell you if you will need to make a court appearance. If a
court appearance is necessary, it will be a simple, informal hearing.

to the courthouse when filing so that the final papers can be mailed.

case is a default or a missing spouse case, the process will be
slightly different. Additionally, different states have different
